Review of the 12th Heidelberg Innovation Forum

The Heidelberg Innovation Forum was never as international as this year: half of the presented business ideas came from all over Europe and could present themselves in front of 20 investors on a global level dealing with the topic "The Mobile Ecosystem". The presentations were convincing for both the audience and the jury. Due to the bwcon Coaching Day on the day before the presenters could improve their skills enormously. The Jury of the "Best Business Idea Award" deemed the presentation of the company Sonormed GmbH, represented by Jörg Land and Adrian Nötzel, the best business idea. The idea deals with the abatement of tinnitus.

12th Heidelberg Innovation Forum: The Mobile Ecosystem

The mobile industry has advanced with a rapid pace within the last years: The dispersal of the mobile internet, the arrival of LTE and the availability of ever more efficient devices deliver the basis for a flourishing mobile ecosystem. At the same time, users are engaging more and more with mobile social networking, and apps are becoming an integral part of our life and work. Traditional sectors, such as construction, mechanical engineering and the automotive industry as well as emerging industries such as creative industries, have realized the value that mobile technology has to offer to their business as well.

The Heidelberg Innovation Forum 2013 is looking for business ideas that respond to this increasing mobility of individuals and enterprises harnessing the potential of mobile technologies.
